Use of conjunctions

Hi,

I'm seeking to write the following verses correctly :

"In the sea

Where no one should be found and/yet/though each one must be keen

As they play hide-and-seek inside a fluid dream."

I wish to replace "and" with another conjunction but I'm not sure what would be most adequate here.

Thanks in advance for your help.

"yet" and "though" are contrastive, similar to "but". If you want to express a contrast between "no one should be found" and "each one must be keen" then you can use any of these words. Of the three, for me, "yet" is the most poetic choice here.
