Use of "confirm"

if I am a shop owner and I call a customer, can I say this?

I JUST WANNA CONFIRM THAT YOUR APPOINTMENT IS TODAY AT 3 PM.

for some reason, I thought confirm is done by the customer, not by me.

However, don't say "wanna." Don't even say "want to"
