Use of comprises

I have posted this question earlier also.

Can you tell me which is proper usage

"the solar system comprises nine planets"

or

"the solar system comprises of nine planets".

How do you access the questions posted on anonymous a/c.
I was trying that but couldn't see it.

You need to check through the Forum to which you posted, and look for a thread posted by 'Guest' and with the title you gave your post. If you gave it a title which was not very apt, then a moderator may have changed the title-- but you should still be able to recognize your topic.
