Are the following conjectures of mine, with regard to the use of the verb "compare", correct?
1. I compared my drawing to/with the one made by my teacher (here I can use "with" and "to" interchangeably, without any significant difference in meaning)
2. What you've drawn doesn't compare with what was drawn by your teacher, it is way worse (here I cannot use "to" in leu of "with")
Thanks in advance !
