Use of comma after a year and before the word when ina sentence

In this sentence: My favorite hotel experience happened in the summer of 1960 when two fine young Vietnamese students came to the U.S. to learn highway construction.

Do I need a comma after 1960? Also, after fine and young?

I believe that: (1) You do not need (and should not use) a comma after 1960. " That would really be a "horrible" mistake.

I believe that:

(1) You do not need (and should not use) a comma after 1960.

(2) You may use a comma after "fine."

(3) You definitely should not use a comma after "young." That would

really be a "horrible" mistake.
