Use of comma

1) A giant terrestrial planet, with a mixer of white, green and brown color, is visible in the backside of the ship.
2) A giant terrestrial planet with a mixer of white, green and brown color is visible in the backside of the ship.
Which one is correct?

The second one. I'm not a native speaker, but in some other languages (and it makes a lot of sense) you can not separate the subject from the predicate.
