use of comma

Due to the size and location of the property, the most probable tenants would be small to medium scale commercial/ light industrial entities, such as a motor spare parts dealer, a glazing company etc.

Hi Guys,

a) is the use of the first comma correct;

b) is the use of the second comma correct or do I have to substitute it with the word 'and' since I am ending off with the word 'etc."?

Thanks

The commas you have are OK, but I'd add one more after 'company'. You don't need the one after 'entities' however. And no 'and' because 'etc' means ' and others'.

  • I would also change 'Due to' to 'Because of'.

Thanks for the input. May I please just ask: Is it okay to start a sentence with 'Becasue of'?

In addition to Mr. M's comments (with his comma added) here's the results of an editor's read:
