Use of been

What is the difference between these two sentences, specifically the inclusion of the word 'been'?

If I were yelled at, I would be unhappy.

If I were 'been' yelled at, I would be unhappy.

Thanks. But what part of it is the not correct grammar?

Is it just wrong to use 'been' with 'were' in this type of sentence? (If I were been yelled at ....)

Impossible. This is the same verb twice, first in the past, then the past participle. It's equivalent to "took taken" or "saw seen".

You don't think these make sense, do you?

If I took taken the money, I would be arrested.
If I saw seen him, I would be happy.

Anonymous. I got confused because I just heard my instructor say it
Perhaps your instructor said If I were being yelled at, I would be unhappy.

Raise your hand and tell him what he said. Then tell him he's an idiot.

Well, maybe not. 5jj's guess is more likely.

Anyway, 'were been' is never possible.

Thank you. And the word 'being' would be possible instead of 'been' in that original sentence, as shown by Mr. FJ, right?
