Use of bedraggled

Hi

Would you say that the underlined is a reasonably common word?

(In spoken English?)

We got there all wet and bedraggled.

Thanks,

Tom

With the emphasis on "reasonably", perhaps. Anyway, it does not stand out as un common. It is a word that you can use freely in the expectation that everyone will understand it.
