Use of articles for "for example" part

Hi. Please help me. Should we put articles before the nouns/words/phrases after the abbreviation "eg" (e.g.?)?

Choose a particular scence (eg, a strolling scence/eg, strolling scence?) and location (eg, a mall/eg, mall?).

It probably is not affected by he physical factors (eg, make-up of the classroom, condition of mentors/eg, the make-up of the classroom, the condition of mentors?).
