Use of articles before the word 'mother'

Hello,

I've got one question related to the use of articles before certain words; in my particular example the word I'm referring to is 'mother'

Would it be possible to use 'the' in this particular context?

If you tell the mother what I did, I will never speak to you again.

I know that the omission of an article is allowed in this case, however would it be correct if I left one before the noun as presented above?

Thanks.

" To say, "if you tell the mother" it doesn't mean my mother to me, a house mother or maybe a mother superior in a nunnery.
