Hello,
I was solving an exercise regarding articles and I encountered a Problem.
The question says spot the error in the given sentence.
"Whenever I meet him he always makes a mention of his father".
The answer sheet in the book says article "a" before mention should be dropped as it is not the correct use of indefinite article but there is no explanation and I couldn't understand why I should drop article "a" before mention as it sounds fine to me.
Need to know whether or not "a" before mention is right and if it is right, why? More precisely I need an explanation which can clear my doubt.
Thank you!!
