Use of "Albeit"

So, I was looking around, and I have found that "albeit" is pretty much only used in the middle of a sentence. i was wondering if it could be used at the beginning of one, like so: "Albeit he thought the moth was wrong, he wished to want something as badly as the moth wanted to fry himself." Thank you!

Anonymous I was wondering if it could be used at the beginning Yes, that can be done, but note that the word is seldom used nowadays and sounds stilted when it is.
