Use of a colon

Is it OK to use a colon as it has been in the sentence below? Or should it be a comma?

No: the worst situation for a proofreader is to read immaculate proofs with not a misplaced comma in sight.

The sentence is the first one in this paragraph. The previous paragraph talked about the worst things a proofreader faces.

It looks odd to me to use a colon after one word. Do you have any other thoughts?
