Use "I" vs "Me"

Which usage is correct?

Since Jane and Joe will not be attending, it looks like it is just you and (I or me) for dinner at the club. Why?

Thanks so much!

The trick is to omit the other person and see which makes sense

e.g.
"It looks like it is just I for dinner at the club."
or
"It looks like it is just me for dinner at the club."

The first isn't right, so you should use me, not I:

Since Jane and Joe will not be attending, it looks like it is just you and me for dinner at the club.
