It doesn't make any sense to me. e. while you are using (or wearing) it it does not need much care, but even with that correction it seems slightly oddly worded.

It doesn't make any sense to me. The only thing I can possibly think is that "face" should be "phase", i.e. while you are using (or wearing) it it does not need much care, but even with that correction it seems slightly oddly worded.
