Use "emphasize" without a complement.

Hi,
I have the following sentence:

It is interesting to observe that A implies B. To emphasize this point, note that B is a consequence of A.
Is it correct to remove the expression "this point" from the previous sentence?

Thanks,
Miguel

Anonymous s it correct to remove the expression "this point" from the previous sentence? It is a little unusual, I think, there.
