Usage Problem

Hi,

I've some questions below:

1. I want to say something to encourage and give confidence to a teenage boy to work hard on this study, to enjoy his school time and wish him have a good result in the exam. How can I say that in an appropriate and funny way? Pls advice

2. Is it correc to say, " The price has gone up". OR can I say, " The price has been rasied up"

What is the correct saying?

3. My cup is in red color. Now, can I say, "I want to use the same color as was the cup."?

Pls correct my grammar.

Study hard, have fun at school, and good luck on your exam . (The "funny" may be lacking, but it's appropriate.)

"The price has gone up," is correct. Or you can say "The price has been raised." (no "up")

My cup is red. I want to use the same color as the cup.
