Usage og " AS ... AS"..

Is the following statement correct ? Thanks in advance.. - Sharad. Opal's naughty behaviour posed as great challenge to Djkstra as ,20 years ago,Djkstra had posed to his parents.

This is my version of it:

Opal's naughty behaviour towards Djkstra was just (I'd add this) as greatly challening as, 20 years before, Djkstra's had been towards his parents.

Well Sharad, I'm not a grammar expert, but I can give you a few tips... For example, don't repeat things when there's no need of it... Moreover sometimes it's a good choice to pick your dictionary and check if there's any word that sounds better and/or make the sense of the sentence easier to understand... Hope this helps...

This will sound a little more natural, Sharad:

Opal's naughty behaviour posed as great a challenge to Djkstra as Djkstra's behaviour had posed to his parents 20 years ago.

This is also possible:

Opal's naughty behaviour posed as great a challenge to Djkstra as Djkstra's had posed to his parents 20 years ago.

(There are two things wrong with your version:
1) It should be--as great a challenge, and
2) The comparison is between Opals' behaviour and Djkstra's [behaviour], not between Opal's behaviour and Djkstra.)
