Usage of "YOU"

I know that "You " can be singluar or pural but we regard YOU as pural. Thus , we have ' You are / You have / You were '. But do we use " You was " ?? even though we refer " YOU " as singluar !

You are confused. 'Was' concords with first and third persons singular (I was, he was) only. 'You' is 2nd person singular and plural: You were, You (all) were. 'Be' is the only verb that is irregular in this way in the past tense, though all add s for the 3rd person singular-only!-- in the present:

I go, you go, you all go, we go
He goes
