Hi all

I'm wondering how the following sentence can be interpreted:

"The measurements referred to in c) and d) above will be taken when the tyre is fitted to a wheel and inflated to 1.4 bar."

i.e. When are the measurements taken?

After the tire has been put on a rim and air is put in to the specified pressure. I presume 1400 millibars above atmospheric pressure is what is meant.

[nq:1]Wouldn't the measurement be different, though, if the tire had been driven and was hot? Or, if the tire had sat for a long period in the cold? A tire with the same pressure within, in extremes of temperature, would measure differently. No?[/nq]
