usage of 'within'

"She sat back and tried to brush away the slight disappointment creeping within herself."

Is the usage of 'within' in the above sentence correct? Can I also use 'within her' / 'inside her' or without the word 'her/herself'?

Thank you, Mister. I'd rather write without 'her/herself' too, but wasn't sure about it earlier.
