Salaam and Hi. I've read somewhere on the net that 'though' and 'but' cannot be used together in a sentence. I think I am okay with that. However, it also stated that 'but' is used in the middle of a sentence whereas 'though' is used in the beginning of sentences. This is quite confusing. I mean, I always hear & read people using 'though' at the end of sentences. Is it wrong? I thought people start a sentence with 'although', not 'though'. Thank you~

I've read somewhere on the net that 'though' and 'but' cannot be used together in a sentence. I think I am okay with that.-- I'm not. I suppose they mean in the limited case of one concession clause and one main clause, but I'm sure there are other situations: 'I was tired but happy, though I had jogged only 3 kilometers.'
