Usage of the word 'Stiff' here

'I slept a little too long and when i woke up i felt my arms and chest so stiffed'
I think I have used the word stiff here incorrectly. Could someone fix my sentence for me please ?

" "stiff" usually applies to body parts with joints. It seems odd to say that one's chest is "stiff". It is not very obvious to me why sleeping for a long time should make one's arms stiff.
