Usage of the word incarnate.

Hi,

Please check the sentence and suggest a correct word instead of incarnate.

Satan is cursed by a saint to be destroyed by a child, who will incarnate as a deity.

I got confused..........a child, who will incarnate as a deity. Please help. How to reframe it.

You're right. Deities incarnate, not the other way around. Your question is difficult because whatever the verb should be, it is not a real action, and I do not know what fictitious action you intend.

  • I guess you mean that the child will become a ***, which is how I would put it.
