Usage of the word, done

Process : a series of actions that are done in order to achieve a particular result:

This is a definition of the word, process and I would like to know if done there is an adjective or the past participle of do? I think that done can be both and it is used as the past participle, still implying action as a passive voice. What do you think? Thank you so much as usual.
