Usage of the word disability

'friends with disability'

This expression is insulting and rude?

Like I have lunch with friends with disability'

It should be "friends with disabilities". The word "disability", as far as I know, is not considered insulting in itself. However, the whole sentence "Like I have lunch wth friends with disabilities" does sound disparaging towards disabled people, at least as far as I can tell without any more context.
