Usage of 'the'

the present and past tense
the present and the past tense
the present tense and the past tense

I would like to ask each tense, and then which form is correct?

the boy and girl's dog
the boy and the girl's dog
the boy's dog and the girl's dog

Is there a meaning difference between them?

What do you native English speakers think?

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

Hello Hans, Most natives speakers don't spend a lot of time choosing articles, most of the time. With the first set, there is no difference between any of them. With the second set, the first one is one dog that belongs to the boy and girl.
