Usage of tense

I am so sorry, sir, I will surely correct my mistake.

Sir, is the usage of tense correct when the incident has already happened and the victim is narrating his ordeal.

"They demanded that I have to pay them money if not they would leak the footage."

Did I use have correctly or I have to use had itself?

Thank you so much sir.

" You do not need both "demanded" and "have/had to". Also, it is a run-on sentence. You can say this: They demanded that I pay them money.
