Usage of Such

Dear people,

This question may sound queer, but it occurred to me while I

was thinking about the usage of the all-too-common word 'such':

Regarding the usage of "such," could it possibly be used to refer

forward, not back, to, the thing or person that you are about to mention?

Can I say, for instance, "Such a question may offend you, but don't you

really, really wanna marry me?"

Actually, I have never come across 'such' used in this way.

From a native English speaker's point of view, is the usage

possible depending on a certain context?
