Usage of "slang"

Hi,

Do native speakers use the verb "to slang" to mean "to sell" (or maybe it's strictly for criminals),

As in:

I slang keys/dope/weed

He's a weed slanger

I listened to rappers (Ice Cube), and looked the lyrics up and there was written "slang" in black and white...
