Usage of Recently

Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could help me understand how to use " Recently"

Is it natural to describe a person who came home about 1 hour ago, "He came home recently."

1 hour: He came home a while ago.

10 minutes: He just came home.

Recently refers to greater expanses of time:

I saw him on the street recently. (2 days ago)

I had my braces removed recently. (2 weeks ago)

I went to Spain recently (2 months ago)
