Usage of "raise"

Hi,

Could you tell me if I can use the word "raise" this way:

1. They raised a platter of scallops $10 at Danny's
2. They raised a platter of scallops by $10 at Danny's

The meaning is that the prise for a platter of scallops went up by $10.

Thanks !
