Usage of "where"

Hi All,

This is my first message to this awesome listEmotion: wink

Its regarding the usage of "where".

Should there be a comma used with "where". If yes, should it be place after or before "where".

If yes, can you please tell me the usage of comma in, "X and Y are alphabets where X comes before Y and Y comes after X".

Thanks in advance !

Have a nice day !!

Hi Sara, thanks and welcome to the forums: "X and Y are alphabets, where X comes before Y, and Y comes after X" I broke the sentence as above as you would break the following sentence: "Bob and Tom are students, not very good ones, but still students"
