Usage of natural

Is this usage of necessary correct?

Our country has no choice but to import almost all the necessay natural resources.

Is it more accurate to say, the natural resources it needs?

Top answer

It's actually better. The first sentence sounds incomplete with "the" unless you are referring to something from before where you say what the resources are necessary for.
