Usage of "just"

ex) I'm going to pretend that you didn't just ask me that.

ex) Didn't we just have this conversation?

ex) Oh gee, we didn't just do that.

Guys, what is the meaning of "just" in the above please? Is it "a short time ago", or is it to empasize the verb after it?
Thank you!
