Usage of Has Been and Have been.

Is this correct?

I’m not sure if I had the advantage in using this formula since this has been around for years...

can someone explain on how to use have been ?

i have been is use when we r doing any kind of work for a particular time and that work is also running now...i have been+ v+ing .e.g :- i have been waiting u for last 10 days..(and still i m waiting).
and has been is used when third person is doing any work.....for a particular time period
