Usage of FOR /OF- which is more appropriate ??

Which one is more correct ?

1> Average income of peron with high school degree ...

2> Average income for peron with high school degree ...

Some times it is really confusing to choose between FOR and OF. I have seen lots of cases where I feel OF is more appropriate than FOR.

Thanks,
Sharad.

" is more standard and would normally be used in writing. " is also possible and perhaps even likely in an ordinary everyday conversation, but "of a person" would be just as good in a conversation.
