Usage of feedback

I had appeared for a telephonic interview and was later informed by HR via mail that the hiring team really enjoyed their call with me and has requested a second round. I replied to him starting with 'Thank you for the feedback......' Is this phrase 'Thank you for the feedback' correct in this case? I can't say 'Thank you for your feedback because he has just communicated someone else's feedback to me.
