usage of Exist and Exists

I just want to know what is the difference between the word Exist and Exists? I would appreciate if someone replies to me with appropriate examples. Thank you.

"Exists" is the simple present tense, 3rd person singular. "Exist" is the form for all other persons in the simple present tense, and also the infinitive:

Present tense:

I exist
You exist
He exists
We exist
They exist

Infinitive:

To exist

e.g.

1. I exist only to eat.
2. He eats to ex
