Usage of especially in past tense

are these correct?

I had especially received way more apprection in one year than 2 years.

I especially felt that I was taking the wrong road.

especially is not used with many verbs. received and felt are not very good with especially.

I especially liked the first of the two paintings.
I especially enjoyed the first course of the meal.
He especially wanted you to know what had happened.
Blanche especially appreciated the kindness of strangers
