Usage of endure

Hi, Is there any difference between endur eand last, because I am not sure if it is okay to use endure or last in the sentences below.

- This lotion endures 2 months

- This lotion lasts 2 months

My intended meaning in above two sentences is I USE this lotion for two months.

can you give me a clarification?

thanks

Only lasts is possible in your sentence. endure is usually used when it's a matter of 'endurance', that is, when there is some difficulty to overcome in order to last. The lotion has no difficulty to overcome, so endure is not appropriate in your sentence.
