Usage of Emeritus

Hans-Hermann Hoppe (German: ['h?p?]; born September 2, 1949) is a German-born American political philosopher, sociologist[citation needed], libertarian theorist[3] and an Austrian School economist.[4][5][6] He is Professor Emeritus with the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas,[7] and currently resides in Istanbul, Turkey.[2] From wikipedia
- Should I capitised emeritus?
- Should I put emeritus before professor or after it? I found emeritus can be put either behind or before professor. - If I came across emeritus professor Wilson, should I address him Emeritus Professor Wilson or just Professor Wilson?

Emeritus is used with a professional title to indicate that the person bearing it has retired but keeps the title as an honour.
ADJ n...emeritus professor of physics...
He will continue as chairman emeritus.

Thank you very much! That thread solved my question.

I tend to accept the suggestion of MissFit's as below:

I recall I was taught that when used as a title before the name, this sort of word should be capitalized. When used as a description, it should not be capitalized.
And it seems "emeritus" can be acceptable either it is put behind or before 'professor
