Usage of commas

This has been Tom, reporting live from the Olympic Memorial Hall.
I'm Tom, reporting live from the Olympic Memorial Hall.

Do we need a comma after the name? I think that this is similar to "This is Tom speaking', so we do not need a comma. And I saw both sentences. Which one is natural to you?

Thank you.

Hans51 Do we need a comma after the name? Probably not. Since it is just a transcription of spoken English, the punctuation is of no great concern.
