Usage of Comma- doubts

Hi,

I have following doubts about using comma at following instances:

Please tell if they are incorrect with some explainatation

1. Besides China, India also has...(should we use 'also' or not)

2. According to our report “XXXXX”, .......

3.It studies the emerging market trends, recent developments, and their impact on the market. (before 'and')



4. Further, the key market drivers, which are expected to fuel growth in DTH segment, are also studied.



5. It covers major industries, segment-wise break up, disease-wise thorough analysis, and information on major emerging segments; to give strategic insight into the market.



I would appreciate if anyone can help me with the usage of semi colons as well.

1. (should we use 'also' or not) -- The comma is correct; "also" is very likely correct/optional, but to make a firm judgement I would prefer to see the rest of the sentence. 2.
