Usage of "clear it to me".

I always understood the expression "clear it to me" means "explain/solve it to me", so I wonder if I can use this expression in a context like I post questions in a forum and in the end I write "please clear it to me" instead of "please explain it to me".

Please help me out with this.

I'm not familiar with this usage.

I often hear, "please clear it up for me."

I understand "to clear something" as to assert or assess that it's okay (cleared) to move to the next stage.
