What are the different uses of the word "cheesy"? As in
That movie is cheesy. So-and-So is being cheesy. ..
Would it be fair to say in that a lot of time the word "cheesy", in the usage above, is a euphematic way of expressing snobbery? Or do folks feel it is just someone saying, "booh" based on personal preference?
Cheers, Jayme

A "cheasy movie" would be a movie that was obviously made on a VERY low budget.

If only because the images the word conjures in this usage are decidedly low-class.

A movie is cheesy when it is bad but doesn't have fun with the badness.
