usage of "both"

Hi,
I am not a native speaker of english. My question is whether i can use both at the end of any sentence, like, " i like icecream and fish both" . Is it wrong to put this like that?

Here in the UK I scarcely hear this "X and Y both" pattern at all, except in certain special cases such as "you and me both" (colloquial). Normally it would be "both X and Y".
