Usage of "blame"

Hi

I have two sentences:

  • We cannot blame our sin on anyone else.
  • We cannot blame anyone else for our sin.

Are they both grammatically correct?

Is either one of these options better than the other?

Please help.

Thank you.

Usually the plural "sins" is seen. Humans generally commit more than one sin. I'm guilty of at least a dozen since I woke up, fed the cat, walked the dog, and fixed breakfast.
