Usage of articles

Hi, I have questions regarding the usage of articles.

For example,
The committee member met with the president of the company.
The committee members met with the president of the company.
The committee members met with the president of the company. (Do we need to omit ‘The’)

Cheers,
JenniferUnagi:)

'The' refers to a specific or previously mentioned committee. We would omit 'the' at first mention of the committee, and 'the' is optional after that.

Thanks!

If we add a ’s’ at the back of the members, can we omit ‘The’?

Are you sure you know what you are doing? What do you mean by 'add 's' at the back'?
